GANDHI-A MANGA BIOGRAPHPY
BY
EBINE KAZUKI
IF YOUR LOOKING TO GAIN THE ATTENTION OF A YOUNGER AUDIENCE WITH
GRAPHICS AND DESCRIPTIVE LANGUAGE ABOUT THE HUMANITARIAN MAHATMA GANDHI THEN THIS IS A OKAY BOOK TO CHOOSE! REASON BEING: THE BOOK NEEDS ABOUT ANOTHER 2-5 CHAPTERS ADDED TO GAIN A FULLER IN DEPTH REVIEW ON HIS LIFE. HE WAS AN ADVOCATE FOR PEOPLE AND STOOD FIRM IN HIS BELIEFS TO RULE NONVIOLENTLY!
READERS WILL BE TAKEN ON A VOYAGE TO DISCOVER THE SIMPLE THINGS OF GANDHI LIFE, COMPARED TO OTHER NOVELS SUCH AS (Mahatma Gandhi-His Life And Ideas) http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/298849.Mahatma_Gandhi, which is a better read for adults because it goes further into details on the way Gandhi started his revolution.
READERS WILL BE TAKEN ON A VOYAGE TO DISCOVER WHERE GANDHI IS FROM (//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohandas_Karamchand_Gandhi) AND HOW HE BEGINS HIS JOURNEY TOWARDS law school(http://www.4lawschool.com/uk/uklawschools.htm) in England and then further on to fight for independence for all Indians. (www.cottontown.org/page.cfm?pageid=2786&language=eng)
In addition I think I would offer this book to students between the grades of 7th-10th! It's a easy storyline to follow but for older students they might become DESPERATE trying to grasp a fuller connection between Gandhi, his childhood, life and life as an advocate. A media of any biograpghy would be great to present to 11th or 12th graders. Even a clip similar to this>>>>http://www.biography.com/people/mahatma-gandhi-9305898. As stated before the younger students can gain from this (INTRO- into- Gandhi's life)!
